So I have a Range Rover SV in Matte Black and I brought it in March this year, and honestly, I LOVE IT..🖤 I see qualities in both cars but they are both very different. Everyone keeps talking about things going wrong with Range Rovers but you get issues with all makes & models, and it's down to ones taste and what they like and ones affordability, at the end of the day people just need to stop being so judgmental, if it's not your car and you haven't paid for it, then it's not your problem! 🙄 But my personal opinion on visual alone, is that the Jaecoo does look like a nice car.. Every car is going to have good qualities and bad qualities that's just inevitable..

on the new model you can create a profile and turn off the safety features and it will remember them so you don't have to turn them off every time now

I got the new x trail and the speed alarm drives me bonkers. It reads the road signs, but picks up one across the road for me which says 10pmh but the road I'm turning onto is a 30.

I see a lot of complaints about ‘the Jaecoo’ when it comes to the safety features, that’s not a Jaecoo thing, that’s an ‘all new cars’ thing, it’s a European legislative procedure and brands don’t make different software and car editions for just the U.K. I had a Vauxhall Mokka for a spell in 2024 and it was WAY worse than the Jaecoo (the lane departure was horrendous). You have to manually turn it off in all new cars these days, I love that the Jaecoo can add those things to the favourites drop down in the infotainment screen so I can turn them off way faster than other cars I tried.

Got mine in October last year, so far I've had problems with, DAB not working, NAV system broken, language issues in the AC half English half something else, colour on the lights in the interior not working and lastly my dashboard showing last 50km rather than miles despite all else being in miles. I've been told to wait for fixes. It's been 3 months so far. Am I happy? Absolutely not.
