Not witchcraft bro😂,. iko hivi kama dashboard lights ziko on bt gari umekataa means the battery acid is not circulating properly,.so it's like you are jumpstarting the battery itself by turning on headlights.

you see the same way you press tv remotes to work or hit them to work...its the same logic but it only works on older lead-acid batteries in cold conditions...by putting the lights for 5 to 10 seconds usually improves the chemical reaction inside an older lead-acid battery which builds more current to start the car...otherwise that trick can NEVER work with new lithium modern batteries
