You’re just stuck in a routine that’s making you fatter, more tired and less confident every year. Here’s what I’d tell every dad. 1. Get your arse out of bed earlier. Nobody has more time. You make time. The gym isn’t getting done after a full day of work, school runs and family commitments. Get it done before life gets in the way. 2. Stop waiting for motivation. Motivation is bullshit. Some days I can’t be arsed either. The difference is I do it anyway. 3. Eat like a grown man. Half the reason most dads are overweight is because they’re living on meal deals, beers, biscuits and whatever the kids leave behind. Then acting shocked when their belly hangs over their jeans. 4. Stop using your kids as an eNot the reason to stay out of shape. Be the dad who joins in. Not the dad who sits and watches. 5. Raise your standards. Most dads already know what to do. Eat better.
