hey, me and my husband got married at 19 and 21. we've been married for 14 years this November. we were together for 2 years before we even got married in high school. best decision I ever made. we had really hard moments in our lives very hard and right now we're currently going through a lot of other stuff, but those hard things instead of breaking us apart has brought us closer together because we fought through those hard moments and stayed together. I'm talking about really hard stuff A lot of people see how the other person reacts during these hard times and instead of talking to them and communicating they just quit and get divorced

The “frontal lobe not being developed” thing is also annoying because it’s not even factual, people just can’t read studies.. The study just stopped following patients at age 25.. it doesn’t mean your brain stops developing at 25, that’s just when the study ended… they actually concluded that we can infer your brain probably never stops developing until you start to regress from old age.

completely agree with you!! getting married young is NOT for everyone but it is for some people, and it kills me that people were bashing that young WOMAN so terribly. she’s not a child- she is a woman, and she can make decisions for herself, whether or not others understand those decisions.

I got married young and definitely do not regret it. I’m so tired of all the people who say just wait in 10 years and it’s like do you not realize that there is a large generation of people my husband‘s parents for instance high school sweethearts still together. Like just because you had a bad experience with a relationship does not mean that I am going to.
