i think people fail to realize the mental and physical toll taking a second job would take and its not like anyone is making hundreds of thousands of dollars on a second job

Yup same. He does do a little side work but he is home while doing it & we can still spend time together. Working 50+ hours a week with 3 kids, dogs, a partner, a home, etc just isn’t what is good for our family right now. Bills are paid & we’re good with that right now.

Agreeeed 100% im a single mom who took less paying jobs to be home with my son when he got home from school to be with him. I had 2 parents growing up that were always working & never home & I told myself I will never do that time with kids is more important to me
