i genuinely think everyone needs to hear this. so i wrote this while crying in my bed but so many of us spend our lives chasing things we think are finally gonna make us feel complete like attention, money, relationships, success, or validation, and then when we finally get there we’re still asking ourselves “now what?” i don’t think purpose is something you randomly wake up and find one day. i think it’s something you slowly discover through the people you meet, the mistakes you make, the things that break you, and the things you choose to keep fighting through. every version of yourself teaches you something, even the ones you’re embarrassed of. i also think we’re way too hard on ourselves for not having everything figured out. we’re expected to know what we want to do with our lives while we’re still trying to figure out who we even are. being lost doesn’t mean you’re failing, it just means you’re still growing. i don’t think life is about having all the answers. i think it’s about staying long enough to find them. the part that stuck with me the most is that purpose probably isn’t something you can hold in your hand. it isn’t followers, money, looks, or other people’s approval because all of those things fade eventually. i think purpose is found in the person you become when nobody’s watching, in the people you help, in the love you give, in getting back up after life knocks you down, and in choosing to keep going even when you have no idea where you’re headed. if you’re reading this and you feel behind or like your life doesn’t mean anything yet, don’t let that thought convince you it’s true. you haven’t met every person who’s going to change your life. you haven’t experienced every moment that’s going to remind you why you’re here. your story isn’t over just because you’re in a chapter you don’t understand yet. keep going. one day you’ll look back and realize that even the moments where you felt completely lost were quietly leading you somewhere you couldn’t see yet.
