Coconut oil breaks down condoms fast, which means it can compromise the protection you’re relying on. It also doesn’t wash away easily and can disrupt the natural bacterial balance of the rectum and vagina by lingering on the mucosal lining. There is one place where it makes sense: solo play or mutual masturbation without penetration, where the long-lasting texture can work well.
