and the reality is no one should have the right to vote because they exist. man or woman. fundamentally believing everybody should vote is problematic because there are many people who are stupid that you do not want voting because they make bad choices. this is why we don't let children vote for example. or people with severe mental handicaps. it's also the reason why we shouldn't let a single mother vote who's dependent on welfare because he decided to have six kids she can't afford with five different men. it's not because she's a woman that I don't want her to vote. it's because she has a track record of making horrible choices. just like how I wouldn't want those five men she had kids with to be able to vote if they didn't participate in their children's lives and also pay child support. because those are bad choices.

I can see the logic in this from a feminist perspective, but zoomed out a bit from a philosophical determinist perspective I don't really think free will exists. None of our decisions are pure conscious choice because our subconscious, life history, and brain chemistry controls us to such a degree that none of our actions or thoughts are truly coming from full agency. So when a person expresses views like this, I feel empathy for them but I don't place all the blame on them individually
