in my opinion it would make no difference to me. a barrel from Coy Hill, pales in comparison to a true Coy Hill bottle. they taste absolutely nothing alike.

Some of that feels disingenuous. Our group has done picks and we went with the one we all enjoyed the most. It sold out in a month. Conversely we've done a pick and we hated all the samples and said no to that pick.

I’m headed to JD end of July for a pick. Gotta go with the best flavor profile no matter what rickhouse or proof. Now if we’re split then those factors could come into the decision but it would have to be 50/50 split.

go with what you know tastes better, not the hyped up brand.... you can even mention to customers that the selection was even better than whatever the hyped up one was..... be honest and give what's most important, a great tasting bottle

Good thing in that situation is that the worst JD barrel in a pick is still probably better than 90% the other store picks on the shelf 🤣🤣
