I had a similar issue last month the buyer claimed the bag was damaged and wanted a partial refund. I didn’t take the return and contacted Vinted with all the proofs; photos before packing it and proof of delivery photo by Royal Mail. If you have photos with stamped time and date contact the support send it to them all the proofs. By any chance if you take returns pro sellers have 2 days to report if you have received a wrong item. hopefully this gets sorted soon xx

I ordered a bundle of lovely items but got someone else’s which I defo didn’t want. The seller was upset about it but the other person who got my order didn’t answer requests to send them back. 🤦🏻♀️

this just happened to me. it's not necessarily the buyer lying. mine looks like inpost sticking the wrong labels on items, so mine has got mixed up with someone else's.

Had this happen to me with Zara jeans, meanwhile I get my stock imported from Poland and all 100% vintage… 😭 I hate scammers

They will ask if you took pictures of you wrapping them… as a reseller who has the time and camera storage to do that for every item? It’s just opening it up for buyers to do this easily!

Literally had the same thing happen I sold some culottes I asked for packing because I put the label on myself and it was my label and my packaging but I think she just took the item and swapped it out with something from her wardrobe and I ended up losing out on £20 .. it’s always adult clothes I’ve never an issue like this selling kids clothes

I remember checking my Vinted account every day hoping to see a sale come through and getting frustrated when nothing changed. Looking back now, I think I was focusing on the wrong things completely. I ended up going in a different direction after that, but that period taught me a lot about what doesn't work.

That’s so annoying! I had the same situation recently with two parcels, not the items that I sent though. I don’t know whether it’s InPost or people just trying to get it for free😏

I have had this lady received some awful hand bags and I don’t sell bags it was relay that mixed the scanning codes up the lady was lovely about it and I left it with vinted to sort

I had this said I’d sent a Christmas jumper and not the leather riding boots .told them A I don’t post in black bin bags B I always post inside shop I told her I had asked shop to send CCTV of me posting in box wrapped in outer packaging and C and the shop she had picked them up from had CCTV of her picking the package up She apologised and said she had gotten mixed up / so mixed up she took labels off my package I had sent and placed on a totally different parcel

Anything over €10 I record myself packing it. At least I can then send that to Vinted to try plead my side in case of this. I know some people who do it for all, but I can’t be bothered having to keep track of all the videos and all the storage been taking up on my phone. I’ll probably start the first time someone disputes a €6 item🤣🤣

Try persuading the person to come clean and just accept the order. Other way, with the joke that vinted support has got now you will loose your money 😢 had multiple just cancelled, seems that vinted fired the last real person ! 😭
