Ana is constantly acknowledged as the best shot in lore. The only reason Ana lost that shootout is that she realized who Widow was. But even with Ana hesitating and frozen like a deer in headlights, Widowmaker still missed and failed to kill her. In the end, I’d say they’re relatively equal, but Ana also has better statements from other Overwatch characters such as Akande, Jack, Cass, and Bap.

Ana is definitely the better shot. Her hesitating given recognizing amelie doesn’t necessarily make her a bad sniper, it separates her from the monster that widow became.

i think no one rlly understands why ana hesitated, it’s just a matter of putting yourself in her shoes. Gerald, Amelie’s husband, used to be in overwatch. Gerald would bring Amelie around to overwatch and Ana would train her to use snipers. Suddenly, Amelie went missing and Gerald was found dead. It was at the moment shown in the edit where Ana hesitates, she was abt to execute her shot, but she recognized it was amelie. just imagine that, seeing someone that you knew as a comrade on the enemies side suddenly, anyone would hesitate. Ana would’ve shot if she didn’t recognize her. Ana would’ve killed her if she wasn’t Amelie anyways fire edit🤤
