You don’t have to watch in order. But you really should start at the beginning

It staying 26 days isn’t a hot take, but a sad reality

If you watch out of order it will ruin previous winners…. I would say start at 13 I think it is. Whenever the hidden immunity was added as before that it was straight garbage

one of my hot takes is that it doesn’t bother me that much that they stay in Fiji, i just wish they would be a little more unique with things like camp locations and challenge variety. you can stay on the same island and make new challenges, and you can find different stretches of beach to utilize for camp… especially if you’re SAVING money by not going to various countries. i do miss the cultural traditions and exploration that were incorporated in earlier seasons tho.

I agree about not having to start at the beginning, but don’t start with a returnee season

I've watched Cagayan first and I would definitely suggest it.

Well, you can watch them in any order you want but the best experience is to watch them in order. There are countless plot lines through the show from 1 to 50. It would be like watching Game Of Thrones out of order. Yeah, you know the Red Wedding happened but its better to watch it happen in real time.

I agree in general, but if I’d watched Cagayan first I’d never have watched another. It’s the only one I couldn’t finish on my last rewatch.

I think you do eventually need to watch them all. I started my boyfriend in the middle bc we had planned to watch 50 live. But I also agree that China is FUN! But it’s not crazy wild gameplay (for the most part!!!) overall mid in comparison. We did 16-20, then 9-15, now 21-29, then 1-8, then 30-40 small break then 41-50.

If you want to get someone to like it watching in order is a bad way to do it

I mean I’m still a fairly new viewer but the order I watched was Cagayan, David vs Goliath, Pearl Islands, Exile Island, All Stars and I’m currently watching Palau

I'm with you. There are at least 15 seasons that are not worth watching at all. Another 15 that I would advise a noob to watch about half the season. If you're trying to convert someone, you have to show them interesting seasons.

I think that even though the cast is unlikable, that’s OK to have it unlikable cast
