Ok I’m divided. The amount of grief and pain in that poor woman’s screams for her dog which was her family!! Was gut wrenching. I truly could not imagine!!! Prayers for them!!!! Now, let’s play Devils advocate: what happened if there WAS something TRULY HEINOUS going on next door of major concern I.e. domestic violence- (EVEN THO 99.9% chance she WAS INDEED celebrating the Knicks and said woman knew that) who was to know? We don’t know what exactly the neighbor heard. Maybe she called out of spite. Maybe out of concern. Hear me out: it was said in the VIDEO ITSELF that there were ‘drug dealers and gang bangers down stairs and the cops were worried about shooting a dog’ so obviously this was not a safe neighborhood. With that said, would you walk over there to a **possible tho not likely** domestic dispute or robbery and run the risk of getting harmed yourself? And isn’t that considered ‘not minding your own business’ as well? And let’s look at it from this angle- just say *HYPOTHETICALLY NOT PROBABLY BUT HYPOTHETICALLY * YOU WERE THE ONE GETTING BEAT TO A PULP OR ROBBED WHILE YOUR DOG HOWLED in that next apartment. WOULD YOU BE HOPING LIKE HELL SOMEONE HAD THE BALLS TO CALL FOR HELP???!! I sure would! Stick your nose in my business at that point. Could you imagine the amount of guilt the neighbor would have had if she heard concerning sounds and DID NOT call- and let’s just say the women ended up extremely harmed or worse? I’m sorry, I’d rather call. There’s no way for her to know they were gonna shoot her dog. It’s so sad all the way around. If it was for spite- shame on her and she deserves every bit of karma that’s coming to her. All I’m saying is- there is still a chance it wasn’t. And I can’t speak for all white people - but I IDGAF what color you are, if I think you are in danger, I will not ignore it. I’m not desensitized to human emotion and I will not stand by if I truly believe you are in danger. no matter what.
