If Allah showed Himself fully, His power and majesty would overwhelm us , none of us could stand before Him. The Qur’an says: “Vision cannot grasp Him, but He grasps all vision” (Surah Al-An‘am 6:103). If we could see Allah directly, how could we ever sin? It wouldn’t fit with the way the world is now. Allah remains unseen so that we have free will, tests, and the chance to choose Him. His hiddenness is part of His mercy, giving us time to turn back, repent, and grow.
