I don’t understand why bridesmaids or people in the wedding party have to pay for the dresses etc. when I got married we paid for that. Some rooms in the hotel came as part of the package. I had one bridesmaid and I paid for everything for her to be there. I don’t think she even got us a gift actually. I got her something to say thank you. Maybe it’s an Irish thing.
