when one has fine hair, it's hard to do anything with it. yes it's doable but is it the worth to risk? if you still want to use those curlers, maybe try a different technique that might help.

when I've done these curls, I have to unroll it just a little bit, hold the hair in place with one hand, near the roots. use the other hand to unroll the curler.

if you stabilize the middle/upper part of the curl and twist the curler, it will help! i usually stick a finger or two in the curler to make it easier to twist out:)
