Fun fact, if you wash the berries and the plastic container and then put a paper towel or Swedish dishcloth down under the fruit, they last really long too

Just clean them put back in container upside down with a paper towel closed into the lid

Air flow plays a factor. We wash the fruit and their original containers then let all air dry, put paper towel in the bottom of the container, cut the lid off , put in fridge. Remove the paper towel the next day. We get many more days this way

You're not supposed to wash berries until you're ready to eat them. Storing them wet, even in those containers promotes even faster rot than just leaving them in the store packagimg 🙄

Just make a big fruit salad and place a strainer in the bowl so it drains the moisture. Been doing this for years.
