my ex stepmother was a door to door Tupperware salesperson back before her first marriage. we had tons of the stuff. I was supposed to inherit some before my dad and her divorced. I never liked the texture they had or the silverware scratches all over them. and the dishwasher would leave this white film all over them that you could taste in the food. otherwise practically indestructible.

This is further proof that capitalism isn’t sustainable or efficient because you can’t make continuous money off good long lasting useful products, to stay in business you have to make anything you sell mildly defective to keep sales high. Capitalism breeds defection and poor quality.
