I would have love to see that conversation between Prue and Patty and/or Grams. I feel she would have called them out alot more about not being honest. Also, when Sam showed up in later seasons, Prue would have laid into him in that episode where Sam needed to heal Paige. It would have been an epic mix of protective elder sister + Prue's own dad abandonment issues

Side note to all this, I feel there would have been a lock in the story format. The first four seasons were very close to an episodic over arching story, where fifth on was very monster of the week. Holly stated in Shannon’s podcast she was forced to stay in the show, and when her and Alyssa took over as producers, that’s when the format changed. If Shannon was still on the show, Holly wouldn’t have been forced to stay. They most likely wouldn’t have taken over, and left the format the same. I think the Cole source story would have happened, just differently. Maybe Cole, grief stricken returns to the fold of evil and works his way into the sources spot, especially since he knows so much of the sisters, he uses that knowledge to over take the underworld. Then fifth season on would have been truly developed the sister dynamic for Paige to truly gel, and possibly even evolve her powers more. I still feel Paige never truly got to advance her movement power other than larger items and eventually demons.

Honestly i don't have this interesting idea of rather than having empathy if Paige replaced Phoebe she could have developed telepathy. Hear me out, Paige is of course Very empathetic she is very kind very nurturing towards other people but she also knows when to protect herself. She's not like Phoebe who gives herself wholeheartedly to one person or one thing to the point where she opens herself up for pain. Paige and a little bit more closed off and naturally distrusting of new people. So I think it would be really interesting if that difference between them made it so power developed into allowing her to understand people's way of thinking rather than their feelings. And rather than gaining power replication she develops ways to use her telepathy offensively.

Paige would have became the psychic witch. With the isolation and her white lighter bloodline her premonitions would elevate to the sear’s level. Being able to see multiple possibilities and longer visions to plan on. I could even see her elevating to a minor level of clairvoyance. But like piper some demons and humans are immune and like In The show the sisters could have drank a potion or write a spell to make them immune to her power.

Paige with Phoebes power makes more sense to me than Paige having Prue powers. Since all of Phoebe powers goes with her whiteligher side including levitation. Paige having Prue power can make sense it’s all about having control and with it protecting people with it but I think that can also go with Piper and Phoebe powers so

I think if Prue had lived, they likely would have revealed Prue already knew of Paige's birth but kept it a secret as a promise to her mom and grams. She was the oldest so she probably knew her mom was pregnant.

if Paige had Phoebe's power I think eventually if it didn't lead to the other two that she had Paige would be able to start orbing through time or it would have lead to something like Billie,s projection power or possibly if she had enough practice in time she could possibly orb things to her from a different time period

I think both because of where Prue would have been at the time of her life and because of who Prue and Paige are people, I don't know if I can comfortably say that they would have initially been as close as the other three were. And that's just because I feel like emotionally and mentally Prue was on a different Journey then Phoebe and Pioerwere when they met Paige. So she might have put a bit more distance between her and her new sibling, even if unintentionally.

I always thought there was a possibility that Prue might’ve noticed Patty being pregnant with Paige. I always just assumed Patty or Grams did some kind of memory spell on her to forget it. Cause I very much remember people around me being pregnant at like 6/7 yo.

Imo Prue had to be the sister to go, canon wise. She was the eldest and always put her sisters security over her own, canonically showing how she was the one who died. If Prue was alive and Piper or Phoebe died, Prue would’ve raged out and probably destroyed the entire world to avenge her sisters. Yes she would’ve accepted Paige but without Prue’s death, Phoebe or Piper wouldn’t have progressed the way they did if Prue wasn’t the one to die. The death of their eldest sister is what evolved them and their powers, and plus the show evolved itself once Prue wasn’t at the helm anymore.

I think Prue would've also be the one who mourned phoebe more than anyone just cuz she helped raise her, and hated her for minute. she would have felt so guilty about what happened that she would be more extreme about everything, her guilt, sadness, regret, and i agree about her becoming militant. that house would be an army, it would become buffy s7 level of violence and militant force

I 100% believe because Prue loosing Phoebe (if that had happened) she would've never accepted Paige immediately she would've been angry and looking for blood , and yes I do agree I think she would've got a deja vu moment once it is revealed Paige is there sister....after a while though I think she would've apologized and welcome her just like Piper and she definitely WOULDN'T ignore her suspicion about Cole ( even though I think the writers wouldn't give Paige that storyline about mistrusting Cole )

Paige with Phoebe’s powers is 💯. She would have had Premonition+Empathy and all the white lighter powers. Her Premonitions would have been great for season 4 innocent of the week structure through her social worker charges… which would help her on her path to becoming a fully fledged whitelighter!
