ugh. I was in this position kind of for a cousins wedding 10yrs ago🤦🏻♀️I had to go bridesmaid dress shopping on my own cause I wasn't available when everybody went. I found a dress that was PERFECT for me & I absolutely loved it AND could have worn it more times after the wedding. was informed another bridesmaid was considering it HOWEVER she never put any money down on it. EYE paid the deposit for the dress BEFORE I LEFT THE STORE only to have my cousin message me and tell me to pick a different dress cause other chic was getting that dress. my only option was one that I fucking hated & would never wear again and had to make to many alterations to it. the one I wanted looked like SHIT on the girl who got it. I was so pissed & unhappy
