need a blade with a larger cutting width than the blade itself. Think diamond sawzall blade for eaxmple...diamond cutting area extends past the blade

I used bee's wax on implement blades when I'm cutting aluminium due to the melting and bonding factor. it works extremely well. beeswax? would it work or not? I have no idea with copper....
