The woman kept her distance, confused and a little afraid, until the bus finally pulled up. That’s when everything made sense. The driver stepped down, reached into his bag, and handed the bear a piece of his sandwich. The bear took it gently, ate it, and stayed near the bus stop for a while as the driver got back on the bus. When the woman finally asked what was going on, the driver smiled and said the bear had been showing up for almost a month. He had first seen it digging through the trash near that same stop, looking hungry, so he gave it part of his lunch. After that, the bear started coming back every morning, waiting for the one person who had been kind to it. People online called it strange, but the woman said she understood.
