madtotherescue Update: Ranger, 7M, Neutered, HW- We stumbled upon this terrified puppy with huge ears shaking on his cot with a sign on his kennel that said "may hide under bed" I stepped into the kennel and the sign was right; he immediately went to find shelter under his cot. It was sooooo sad. He's such a cutie and I can't imagine sitting in this loud environment for a month already and how scared he must be, day in and day out. I lifted the bed to interact with him more and he never showed a single sign of aggression. He ate treats in front of me too (before his confident kennel mate grabbed them) so I think he'd totally be ok out of here. Staff said he hung out in their office one day and he opened up more, burying his bone in his bedding and snuggling next to his plushies. The shelter does have him as URI but I didn't see any symptoms and this is his second round of meds. This guy and his floppy ears shouldn't spend another night here! Medical Notes: Fecal float giardia, Metronidazole 250 BID × 10 days, Fenbendazole granules Daily × 10 days URI, Doxy 150 BID X 10 days, cough tabs 100 BID X 7 days URI, Baytril 136 Daily x 7 days, Pet tab supplement daily × 15 days *Pledges toward rescue are appreciated!
