@staceyhikes: 📍 striding edge, Helvellyn, Lake District. my phone reliably advises me that today is four years since I first hiked striding edge. Since then striding edge up to Helvellyn and back down Swirral Edge has become my absolute go to solo hiking route in the Lake District. On the days that I’m not bothered about bagging something new and I just want a hike that I know I’m going to love, this is the one I go for.
