@tows_and_tails: Imagine hating me and I’m over here living the most beautiful life with the most special 🦝 girl 🥰💁‍♀️ In the rescue world (wild and domestic), you can meet the most incredible people. Unfortunately, you can also meet some pretty awful ones too. I had a rehabber accuse me of giving Crystal drugs to “alter brain chemistry and remove natural raccoon behavior”. Accusing me of drugging Crystal will not be tolerated. Rehabbers can be cruel bullies, and if they don’t agree with what you’re doing they can get so nasty. This lady (who has since been blocked) first accused me of breaking the law, and when I proved her wrong on that she jumps to me giving Crystal drugs to keep her calm. Disgusting. Some people don’t agree that animals with disabilities should live. Or that raccoons should be pets. And I guess that’s their right to have their opinion. I personally know they can have beautiful lives, free from pain and suffering they often live with in the wild. But whatever your beliefs, I absolutely will not allow horrific accusations regarding my care for my animals. *we are a legally licensed rescue for raccoons with disabilities. If you don’t like that, I don’t care.
