In Genesis, when Adam and Eve sinned, they tried to cover themselves with leaves. But God replaced the leaves with clothing made from animal skin. That means something had to die to cover their shame. Before the Bible ever explains sacrifices, it already introduces the pattern that sin brings death, and a life is given to cover the guilty.

The Bible said that the Devil comes as a thief to steal, kill and destroy. It also says that the Devil is like a roaring Lion, looking for who to destroy. Now remember that information. 1. Gal 5 verse 22: fruits of the spirit are love, peace, joy, kindness etc. 2. Gal 5 verse 19: acts of the flesh are immorality, impurity etc. If the Devil is a Lion, then he only eats flesh. So when he comes around and see fruits in you, it will walk away because you don't have what it eats. But if he comes and sees flesh, he dwells and feed.

satan went after eve and tempted her because she wasn’t there when God gave the command to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. he knew she would be more vulnerable because she was living on second hand revelation, this is why we cannot live off of others faith, we have to make it our own in order to not be vulnerable to satans temptation!

David grabbing five stones and wasn’t because he wasn’t confident in his aim against Goliath the opposite is true. He grabbed five because one was for Goliath and then one for each of his brothers in case they wanted the smoke because it was their right at that time to avenge him. After Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, God asked 3 questions. One of them was, “Who told you that?” He didn’t ask because he didn’t know the answer. He wanted Eve to think about the question and answer for the purpose of revelation that the enemy had tricked her. When negative thoughts enter our mind, we need to ask ourselves, “Who told you that?” and if the thought contradicts the word of God, disregard it. He will never contradict himself.

In that time period if someone got up from the dinner table and folded their napkin it meant they weren’t done and going to return. If they messily left it they were done.
