Nuclear engineer here 🙋♂️you explained it pretty well! The drawing should have a condenser post-turbine (but I'm just being picky lol) and to add, the PRIMARY Loop (reactor side) is pressurized to avoid boiling and the Steam Generator side is at a much smaller pressure (so it can create super saturated steam - generally under 0.25% water to avoid impingement downstream to the turbines)!

I've known January Walker personally for 8 years now. We met in July of 2018 at our place of employment. January was a colleague and then dear friend of mine. When she announced a run for U.S. Senate in 2020, I volunteered to help her, and worked as consultant. She then ran for Congress in Utah in 2022 and 23. We ended up becoming really good friends. Lot's of outings, hiking, kayaking, dinner and drinks, babysitting dogs, etc. January was eccentric but never completely unhinged until February of last year.
