@wildhats: I’m always on the hunt for the perfect hat shape for the outdoors! I think the low crown Gus with this makes a great hat! When you think about A Hat being outdoorsy, you wanna have some good coverage on the brim and you wanna have a nice pinch to take it on and off.

Can someone explain how these hats maintain their shape? So he uses steam to shape the hat but, say you are a cowboy outside working on a hot day. Your head is hot and your head is sweating. Does the Hat eventually start to lose its shape? Is there some sort of trick they use so that the hat doesn’t lose its shape?
