That was such a hard but necessary left turn in the episode. And I definitely agree. After seeing the scene I was like, oh…the train confrontation probably sounded a lot different to Lestat in the moment than it did to Claudia. Also, Regina! Baby girl needs to be protected at all costs!

I fear we may have peaked, because it was an incredible episode. the juxtaposition of hearing Your Biggest Fan with the corny Magnus video as Lestat's reclaiming of his turning, and then seeing the real turning while hearing Claudia's words... that was damn powerful.
