People don’t understand that nothing is ever free. I still have family members in Chile, which has “free” healthcare, who have been waiting for years on a list for them to get the surgery they need. Down there if you’re part of the upper class, you will get a good healthcare, but if you’re in middle class and below they could care less

You compare on “price” without understanding the cumulative price of healthcare not the direct translation of it pill per dollar.
