He couldn’t handle that I went to see a friend from college without him. He could not handle that I didn’t want to share my location despite the fact I told him I was 2 blocks away with one of my closest friend. That’s where it clicked. A friend who knew me so long but wasn’t there for a while said she never thought I’d let a man do that to me. She reminded me of my power. I needed to push him out.
