im trying to change from that mindset I worked 13 hours yesterday went home my son birthday was yesterday he asked if id throw the football with him even though I was beat I said sure and he said it made him happy which made me feel awesome the. I went to bed to get up at 2am again

we feel like we only can be at our peak in our work environment. find a way to be the same at home. a big one for me is when my boots are on, i'm doing this or that n getting stuff done. so keep that same thing going at home. get you some home "boots" dont have tk be the expensive steel toes we ruin. Just that mindset. know this is what youve gotta do each day. dont give yourself options to back out and do nothing. get your ass up. I struggled with this for a long time man. been wearing coveralls my entire adult life. what else do yall do? I know making plans is a no no, but screw it dude.

Yep. Been working 7 days months on end. Taking a 4 day weekend for the 4th. Now I feel like a piece of shit lol. I NEED to get some shit done around the house and actually spend some time with family. But i almost feel like I’ll be behind after taking 4 days off after working 7/12s for months lol. I want to be debt free and have my nieces college fund completely paid before I ever slow down.
