I dont watch love island so idk if this is sarcasm, but im a natural blonde and my hair ALWAYS got a straw like texture near the ends and was sometimes green-ish if i didn’t shampoo AND condition like right as i got back from swimming

It’s not actually the chlorine that turns it, it’s if the unit uses a copper filter and when the filter is old and needs replacing it’ll turn that greenish color and add the copper to the water and that causes the green, (btw as a life long bottle blonde and swimmer )

if you watch cierras video from last year after she got off of the show she mentioned that they do get in the pool a lot that people do swim and that it's just not filmed because it's not needed and they film the most drama and exciting moments. she also said that their mics are not waterproof so they have to take their mics off and there's just no point of recording and they have no non-filming days where they also swim all day.
