i agree, HoYoverse is greedy ahh company but wtfm release game like genshin is 2026? its 6 years old game made ro be story based game with simplier mechanics. Do i play wuwa? No, is it better than genshit? yes, does it have better animation char design etc. also yes dpes it have less fanservice that gi oh definitely no. will i play it, nno sorry i prefer simple gameplay that Genshin offers (ive tried playing wuw, nte, endfield, tower of fantasy, etc.) i call hoyoverse slompany bc it is, but take Genshin for example, except rewards that are ass since 2020 game improved a lot with cutscenes and etc... but there is still problem with them recycling some things wirh is why its so sloppy

I feel that although ZZZ has questionable char designs the game modes they send out are great even adding a gamemode where only skill alone matters making the gacha chars you pull useless as the characters provided for you.

this is true for the most part but i dont believe this is the case for zzz, if you look at their hustory they are trying to improve the game constantly even adding an endgame without any shill. mostly yea this is right except with zzz.

I heard some rumors that hoyoverse/mihoyo they try to rival tencent in game industry, maybe thats why they don't improve their games so much so they can make a new game so people will know the game they played is from hoyoverse not from tencent. I forgot where i heard this rumors but usually the information that i get like this is from X/twitter idk this information its valid or not but yeah thats all

I sincerely hope that hsr will continue it's streak of having nice characters and that the meta starts stabilizing. it's the only hyv game I play now because it's the only game where I feel somewhat appreciated 😭

i think a few reasons why people nowadays chose to play gacha from hoyoverse it's because: 1. Popular -> huge fandom/community -> fandom create more contents (fanart, tutorial, fanmerch, etc). it's not difficult to find it online, it's anywhere. Meanwhile if you chose to play gacha games from smaller company (for ex: duet night abyss). It's difficult to find fan content, people didnt talk much about it. You hardly find friends that play the same games as you. Playing gacha games is often not just about the gameplay, but also about "celebrating" your favorite characters with others. If you play something that's more niche, loneliness is real. There are no friends to show off gacha results or discuss lore. 2. Longetivity. If it's from big company, the chance the games to go EoS is small. (ex: black beacon) 3. Familiarity. Hoyoverse succeed create an ecosystem like Apple did. Once you're comfortable with one product, it will be easier for you to try their other products. Even though the company is capitalist, and even though there are many other products with better quality but people still choose that's more familiar to them. Hoyoverse doesn't just sell games, they sells a digital lifestyle and a sense of security.

Ugh it’s like the cookie run verse all over again.. Crk made devsis rich and they decided to chase that fame by releasing so many new games, only difference is that compared to hoyo devsis was already suffering from crazy insane budgets they wanted for updates

Hey quick question do what do you think of Lads because because they been dominating for a while I play genshin, lads, Hsr and Zenless to me Genshin is worse of all of them to me Lads and Hsr are better, I might be a little biased because I prefer male characters but genshin barely give male characters, Hsr give some at-least and Lads are all about them and they are good with updates not best pretty good all I wish more gacha games give more male characters anyway I agree with everything you said because Hoyo is stuck with Honkai title.
