I retired and took vacation time as my 2-weeks notice. Called my boss and said I’m not coming back tomorrow. I worked an evening shift and was the only one in the building so I didn’t have to say goodbye to fake friends on the way out. 20-years at that place and I blocked every single person and office phone number. HR can send me a letter if they need something but I’m not gonna help my train a replacement or answer questions for free.
