I have both styles…only buy the aluminium if you’re prepared that it WILL get dinged up if you buy the checked in size. And if you want the aluminum as carry on…be mindful, empty it weighs just over 4.2kg. Lots of airlines carry on is anywhere from 7-10kg. So a lot of the time you’re using HALF of your carry on allowance just on the empty suitcase. The polycarbonate sits at just over 3kg.

Love them but they are way too heavy for carry on. They need to make a lighter option. Very cute though.
