@theselena_v: My Chocolate chip cookie recipe has been by far my most requested! You guys asked for it, so here it is. I don't praise my own recipes very often. Truthfully, I'm almost never completely satisfied with them because I genuinely enjoy the process of development. There are always small tweaks that can make a big difference. That being said, there are a handful of recipes I'm extremely confident in, and this is absolutely one of them. Chocolate chip cookies are incredibly personal. Some people love semi-sweet chocolate chips, others prefer dark chocolate chunks. Some want brown butter, some want softened butter. Thick cookies vs. thin cookies, the list goes on. I think that's part of what makes them special. A good cookie is a good cookie. Regardless of your personal preference though I am certain this recipe will earn a spot in your rotation. One of the biggest lessons learned while developing this recipe is that cookies are deceptively simple. The ingredient list is straightforward, but small details make a huge difference. Time and temperature matter here. If your eggs or cream are too cold, or if the dough doesn't rest long enough, your results won't be quite the same. Don't stress if everything isn't perfect though, they'll still be delicious. I also heard your feedback on my Banana bread video! The recipes I write for myself are usually pretty vague because I can fill in the blanks from memory. I wasn't expecting that video to reach so many people, and I definitely wasn't prepared for how many of you wanted to recreate my recipe! This time I've included as much detail as possible along with multiple scaling options so you have the best chance of success. Thank you all for being here. As a professional chef and seasoned baker I had to try these. They missed the mark for me as a chocolate chip cookie but they are good. The molasses was too forward for me and it just didn’t have that classic chocolate chip cookie flavor. The recipe in Sweet Tooth is still at the top of my list! Your recipe is good and worth trying imo. Also worth mentioning if you haven’t tried Callebaut chocolate chips you’re missing out, blows Ghirardelli out of the water.

Hi! I love this recipe definitely going to try!! Also I’m a new baker and every time I make chocolate chip cookies and leave them in the dome shape it never spreads. I always use the exact measurements except for the sugar, is it maybe bc of that? Tysm!!!
