Crazy, they‘re fine with pedophiles and even let a rapist play on their national football team this world cup but as soon as someone finds a quiet corner to have a 5 minute prayer without bothering anybody they get mad

I personally believe that prayer is best kept private rather than practiced publicly. That said, if someone is genuinely devoted, I respect their choice to pray. Whether a person spends time in quiet contemplation or prays to God, neither harms anyone, and both should be respected.

cultures are always colliding because of ignorance... The video doesn't really show if he asked the young man while he was praying or after he was praying.... also are Japanese people aware that performing salaat is obligatory regardless of location? was the man performing his salaat at the appropriate time? and our Japanese people aware that there are other people who practice their faith living and/or visiting amongst them? So again we live on a planet with a whole lot of people and their journey irregardless of geographical location is their journey... Japan as to my understanding has a spectrum of faiths and/or traditions that are currently in practice....Kami or Shinto....Matsuro, Torii Gates etc...(which I agree that shrines and practice thereof should be holy ground and they should be respected those things as far as tourism absolutely hands down they should be protected at all costs) ..... but the same regard and respect should be given towards a Muslim man a Muslim man could be from any geographical location So we need to put emphasis on boundaries respect understanding and not just projecting as to "because you're in Japan I'm not used to this don't do that".... and vice versa So this grand experiment that all human life or life in itself conscious we are all in this together the entity behind the consciousness that allows all things to BE.... put us here so let's practice harmony balance 😏 Love is the highest frequency.

When people say “this is Japan.” I often wonder what they mean. How do they define what is and isn’t Japanese? A lot of popular Japanese foods are borrowed from other cultures (ex. Ramen, curry, etc.). So when they say this is Japan, I’d ask them what qualifies as part of Japanese society.

interesting. they would rather confront, get aggressive even view it as offensive when someone’s praying on a public space but wouldn’t confront a groper, bullying, fighting, harassing LMAOOO bunch of cowards and double standards. hate people like that and they need to be more open minded. that’s why japanese people are seen very weird ass people than people outside japan. and don’t forget these are the same people who do weird freaky shows on public TV shows doing weird fetish shit on live TV. oh japan how low you’ve fallen

This is so funny to me, Japanese people are fine with pedophiles, hentais that contain characters that look like kids, grapists playing in their national football team but as soon as someone is praying in a corner where nobody else is and minding his own business they get mad. Japan!😁🇯🇵

Why do Japanese people see anything that stands out as something bad? We understand this is Japan, but can’t you all understand other people, as long as they’re not bothering you, isn’t that perfectly fine? Or is that the reason why Japanese people are so islamophobic? Like why lately there are so many videos steering public opinion negatively about Islam and Muslims? Go observe world and be more emphatic to people.

i kind of agree with them, i’m a muslim too and i currently lives in japan anyway. like we need to respect their culture to make them respect us too. even in my company, my japanese’s colleague had said they’re fine with me doing my prayer but i still feels uncomfortable to doing it when they’re watching. so i decided to did it at home instead

Japan is so hypocritical. They made such a fuss about the Chinese couple dancing in front of a convenience store at 5:30 in the morning with no one around, yet they have that group with all the dancing girls in uniforms holding up traffic in other countries. If you want people to behave in Japan then they should behave when they go to other countries

Muslims like to wear their religion on their sleeve at all times. It can be disconcerting but let them have their bit of space to say their prayers provided that they are not obstructing the public and being a nuisance.Of course this is easier said than done especially in a country like Japan where religion etc is a personal matter. The resentful reaction of the Japanese is understandable.

Would you say the same to a Japanese praying randomly’ the world belongs to everyone no one has right to say anything. He was praying not harming anyone. Doesn’t matter what country there is an etiquettes to asking someone about something they’re not familiar with. Don’t hate on people because of the media. Learn, educate and mindful of your negative thoughts. You all belive in god so don’t displease your god by being harsh in he’s creations.

I do think there is nothing wrong with the Japanese man asking even if the question is quite harsh. As a Muslim, you have the obligation to plan your travel and prepare. Ive been to Japan twice but i always find an appropriate place to do my Solat. It is easier nowadays. Don't make Muslim look bad by your action my fellow Muslim. Dont bring fitnah to our religion.
