my high school teacher asked me if i smoked. her question floored me because i had no idea i went to school until i was 17 smelling like cig smoke. i say 17 because my mama stopped smoking on the way to school after that 😁

I loved my grandma more than anything, and I didn't think or care about the fact she smoked cigarettes, I was an oblivious kid. But I can very vividly remember the smell of getting into her 90s purple Plymouth minivan, and in a way it's comforting.

Same, I had a teacher tell me she would not give hall pass to me to go to bathroom she thought I was going to smoke cause I smelled like it. Puked in her floor.
