Being alone can be peaceful but opens the door to real loneliness sometimes especially when the sun goes down. I will pray that the Lord will fill your loneliness as you prepare yourself by accepting his presence and possibly someone to also fill the void. I pray this for myself as well and wait on His timing.

I was the listening ears, the one who cared and shared with him all he needed and more. I was abused…It’s taken me years to recover. I still believe in real love. But I’m much more careful now. It’s not easy being alone all the time. Never being married or had any children and not having anyone around has been hard for me. You always have friends to turn to just keep the faith . ❤️

Find your peace within my friend. Feeling lonely “alone” is better than feeling lonely when you’re not alone. I went within and poured peace and joy into my own cup. It’s a beautiful healing process. You face all the things that made you put your peace on the back burner for everyone else. Now I look around and thank God for the time HIS will was done in my life - Yes, He allowed me to grow in that uncomfortable alone/lonely time. It made me lean more on Him and face myself. The good the bad and ugly. Now, I’m in a much better place. You will be too. For what it’s worth, I spent a year’s worth of time laying on my porch swing every evening. It isn’t until we can find that peace and joy within, that we are ready to invest in someone else. When the time is right, you can pour from your cup without emptying it. Hang in there and keep swinging!
