I don’t see Jesus as anything other than a witch. A healer. An alchemist. A man working with energy and the unseen. And Mary Magdalene… The one who taught him to question… to think critically… to do magick through energy manipulation, to see beyond the stories of the times. She taught him to be the face of the wisdom because women would be murdered for doing what Magdalene did in the days they lived. She raised the dead, she turned water into wine.. but the story we’ve told and been told is it was him. What if “resurrection” wasn’t what we were told in Christian mythology. Resurrection…What if it was bringing someone back from the dead, as we see Jesus doing in Christian mythology, knowledge of the body… slowing the heart, preserving life… All learned in a Egypt in the missing years of Jesus life, there was just too much to change in those years of his life so the scrapped part of history so the narrative stayed the same. Theee days later she brought him back from the brink of death him and fled to France together. We’ve been handed stories and told not to question them. But the truth is thinking for yourself is sacred power. The real power they tried to erase… was ours, the witches, priestesses and oracles. The truth is we were taught to accept lies as truth and truth as lies. And, taught to defend it and let it dictate our lives. The only reason we see remnants of Christianity in the craft is because to stay alive our craft had to be hidden in plain sight. My opinion is Witches don’t believe in Christian mythology because we existed before the conversion. We witches won’t be bringing the toxic ways we used stayed alive during the conversion into the present because there’s no need and we are thinking for ourselves. Question everything.
