True story: my grandma kept me everyday after school until I was 12. She went back to work that year. She and I watched "Days" and "Guiding Light" everyday of my life. When she went back to work and I had my first summer on my own without her watching me, I bought a spiral notebook at the dollar general and I watched our shows carefully and took notes and I called her everyday when she was off of work to tell her what was going on in our stories. She pretended to care and to be really into it all. 🥲
