Yall being a tad bit dramatic.. Daisy was just antisocial and rude to people in the book. She didnt want anyone near her or in her room thats it. Her story is very brief but shes definitely not worse than movie-Lisa

Besides the different appearance of both, Lisa in the book was never the villain, she was fun and had good scenes, while Daisy was extremely aggressive and antisocial, so it creates a contrast. I personally like both versions of both characters, but I wish they had brought out more of their real personalities (in Susanna's eyes, of course)
