Children outgrow us. We mothers never outgrow them. Once a Mama, always a Mama. There is no off switch. It does get easier in time. And then the beautiful grandbabies come along and fill your heart back up.

It’s so hard. My youngest graduated 3 years ago and I am still trying to find myself. It’s very lonely at times. It’s all very normal to have the feelings you are having.

They will always need you. Mine are 40, 37, 35 and I am doing now for my grandchildren. It's a nice change and you will be ok. It is hard but it will be a good change.💙💙

Oh you are so wrong !! I raised two and if you are the kind of mother I was it honestly stays the same. They still need you just with different things. Different questions. But you will still be needed JUST AS MUCH !! Younger kids is smaller problems. Bigger kids is bigger problems. Sometimes they need you more. ❤️❤️

In four days, my youngest gets married, so I definitely understand. Things are moving too fast in our babies are growing up and I don’t like it.

It sucks. I hated it. I would take them back in a second. It’s lonely. It’s quiet and it makes me sad.

You are grieving and I recommend starting therapy now. I understand where you’re at. It’s such a process. Took me at least 5 years to recalibrate
