Most beginners think they have to run a certain way… but truth is: Everyone’s running style is a little different Your body, structure, and experience all play a role The 3 foot strikes 👣 1️⃣ Heel strike: heel lands first Feels natural for beginners The main issue is usually overstriding which could lead to shin splints 2️⃣ Midfoot strike: whole foot lands together Smooth, balanced, controlled Often more efficient for most runners 3️⃣Forefoot strike: front of foot lands first Great for speed More stress on calves/Achilles over long runs So what’s best?
