@armin.phys1o: Having constant knee pain and the joint hurts? You might have knee osteoarthritis. Knee osteoarthritis was considered to be a degenerative disease but lately it’s being considered a regenerative disease. This is because as your joint starts to wear out and your cartilage becomes non existent, you start getting bone on bone. Since bone doesn’t like this new stress, it actually will form all sorts of bone deposits, osteocytes and totally disrupts your natural smooth joint line. As a result you start experiencing pain with most movements of the knee and in some cases have constant pain. Individuals with knee osteoarthritis will tend to have majority of their pain on the inside of the joint along the joint line. They struggle with full extension or flexion of the knee. They also tend to be slightly older in age. This condition is usually diagnosed by a rheumatologist and they often use blood work and x rays to confirm the diagnosis. It’s important to manage this condition with proper exercises, rest, recovery and at times with bracing. In some cases where the condition gets really bad or unmanageable a total knee replacement is recommended. Share this with someone who you might expect has knee osteoarthritis and ask any questions you might have in the comment section below! #kneeosteoarthritis #osteoarthritis #knee #kneerehab #kneeexercises
Had ACL recon 15 years ago and still suffer from AMI, whilst I am still active with contact sports. At crossroads now since being diagnosed with osteoarthritis.

Accident: fractured femur last year. Had ORIF femur fracture. Now severe osteoarthritis from trauma. Incredible pain bending knee, knee locks, agony. Suggested remove rods first from femur surgery then Total knee replacement. Possible hinge needed too.. thinking PT but such a mess from knee pain. Will try exercises but doubtful🙂↕️

There’s nothing you can do for arthritis in the knee. Just get the knee replacement. You’ll thank me for it later

I dislocated my patella 11 weeks ago and I’m having this and I don’t know exactly why. I’m still using crutches bc my knee gives out most the time without when I walk normally. Seeing a surgeon soon mpfl reco seems likely apparently, but from sudden steps I get a deep sharp pain recently and I get pain pressing the joint line, and bending up far etc. my mri was pretty clear at the time of injury too.
