Bought my buddy these two boxes of cards for his birthday, i had never bought any cards before and don’t know jack about the tcg, but I knew he would love just ripping the new set. A damaged pitch black ETB for $55, and a collectors pin edition of ascended heroes. He ripped the AH box and sadly didn’t get anything from it. A little later into the night we move on to pitch black, and he rips five from the ETB and gets nothing. We did some weird poké ritual and then I suggested we “spread the wealth”. The five of us rip the last packs simultaneously left to right around our little circle. Nobody gets a hit, and we’re starting to get al little bummed. And then as the last card in my pack gets shown we all flip out. Happy bday Kai lmao.
