you literally can have court orders that you cant move x distances from each other. my parents couldnt move x distance from my grandma. they also used her address for our base address for schools cuz we would move often.

As someone with full custody - I wouldn’t be allowed to move somewhere that made contact with their other parent difficult unless he agreed to it and we had a plan in place to facilitate contact

I lowkey wouldn’t get into a relationship in a new state when I have joint custody of my kid with my ex. You can always want to move home. Vis versa. I wouldn’t get into a relationship with someone with kids because the kids should come first but we may not be aligned on that.
