You could have all the cut losses or risk management stop loss all you want, but it wont matter if your strategy does not work, and most if not all strategies u see online dont work, people often convince themselves that it would eventually will work even if it does not, why? because they dont journal properly, some just journal trades, but forget to journal the strategy to see if it works or not

Buying the s&p500 is good for long term. The comparison between inv & day trading is far fetched. Trading is an additional cashflow, so putting the 2 in comparison does not make absolute sense. Correct me if Im wrong, the data about 90% is old. Its derived from books that were written more than 10 years ago I think.

it's not about making money itself. it's about developing a skill that can make you money consistently. what happens when you made money for just buying one asset just because people told you to and even when you win one time, it's a one time big time and there's a high chance it will not happen again while in day trading even at failing many times, you can build the skill and overtime you will get profits even if you lose all your money, you still have the skill to make them
