I have had 4 babies and personally I think it would’ve been amazing to have my husband deliver my baby. But that’s just me and I get if other women wouldn’t want that because it can be a scary and long experience

She has a valid point in several areas of this post. If her own OPGYN is incapable of speaking to and with her, she should separate him from her appointments. Tell her physician how she feels and what would they do in her place. I fully understand both sides, but in the end of the day or pregnancy he is the father, not OP’s OBGYN. He needs to remember that. This will be the one time most women are at their most vulnerable.

hubs sounds terribly unsupportive. the fact that she's going to her appointments alone now cause she keeps getting railroaded is horrible. I understand him wanting to deliver his own baby, but wife needs to remind him She's the one getting the Medical Procedure, smfh

I’m team wife . But as a woman who has given birth three times, the pushing and the crowning is the absolute hardest part and she will not be able to hold hands with anyone or even be aware of holding hands. In my opinion…
